Empowering kids’ health food habits

Our national community partnership with the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation (SAKGF) continues to help kids to develop lifelong positive food habits.

During 2024, our collaboration with the Foundation generated an estimated $1.8 million boost to the health and social economy. Throughout the year, schoolchildren participating in the program celebrated World Milk Day and Healthy Bones Action Week. They were inspired to create the perfect cheese platter, share mouth-watering dairy recipes and delicious lunchbox ideas.

The Foundation’s Kitchen Garden Program runs in over 1,000 schools and early childhood services around Australia, delivering over three million kitchen garden experiences for students each year.
