New flexible insulation covers were recently installed on the steam valves and flanges at our Burnie production facility. The covers will reduce heat loss by up to 95% and are set to eliminate 700 metric tonnes of CO2 per year from the site's carbon footprint.

This project delivers benefits in support of Saputo's environmental pledge targets, while savings costs by reducing the amount of natural gas needed to burn to generate steam.
